Anthony Richard Anstead, aka Ant Anstead, is an English entrepreneur, artist, car builder, and TV personality. He was born on March 1979 in Plymouth, Devon.
Before fully devoting his time to building cars and artwork, he worked as a police officer where he was awarded two commendations for bravery before his eventual departure.
He was then able to focus on his craft where he built cars according to his clients’ specifications as well as building his reputation as an artist. Most of his works have been either sold to high-profile collectors, museums, or car enthusiasts all over the world.
Aside from his successful business, he is perhaps best known for his work as a co-presenter for the TV show For the Love of Cars in 2014 with Philip Glenister for Channel 4. He exhibited a natural talent for TV which was greatly received by fans of the show. The show eventually came back in 2015 and 2016 due to popular demand. In 2014, he also eventually started his own television production company which produced his own show The World’s Most Expensive Cars.
