$105,000 In Parking Tickets
There has never been a scenario in the world where a parking ticket isn’t incredibly enough. But one Chicago woman has truly learned exactly how annoying parking tickets can be.
Jennifer Fitzgerald made history for having the most parking tickets ever in Chicago after her 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo was ticketed 678 times over three years resulting in $105,761.80.
The car, which she claims was registered in her name unknowingly 
by her ex-boyfriend, was dumped at O’Hare airport for two and a half years and was ticketed the 678 times over the period. Why. The. Hell. Would. They. Not. Tow. The. Car.
At first, we were quick to tell the lady to get over her parking ticket woes for being dumb enough to illegally park 678 times. But after we heard the full story, it makes us hate meter maids even more.
The final agreement resulted in Fitzgerald owing under $5,000, and her repayment plan is a manageable $78 a month for three years.
