If you’re a UHNWI (our new favorite acronym that stands for ultra high net worth individual), than $400k is nothing but change to spend on your special someone. Check out the details of the package which is being offered by The Shangri-La hotel Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi.
To start off the package, you and yours will be picked up from any location within the city by a private limo, where afterwards you will driven to your top-of-the-line Presidential Suite. Based on its website, the hotel’s grand suite has two large bedrooms, a personal Jacuzzi, sauna, balcony, private garden, AND dining room.
The suite is normally stocked with the finest perks, but for this premium package add but only the best vintage bubbly but also “premium gourmet chocolates.” Before dinner, you and yours will be spoiled with caviar facials and spa treatments in one of your many private rooms so you can be totally relaxed before dinner. No word yet on the material offered for your bath robes.
You will then have a personal shopper help you select couture goodies, go to a seven course dinner, and than be taken on a helicopter to experience a breath-taking tour of the city. Yeah, it sounds awesome. But don’t forget, it’s costing you nearly half a million dollars.
Two years ago, American companies Four Seasons and Jet Blue teamed up to offer an identically-priced package. The package included a flight from a private Jet Blue carrier, lots of caviar, lots of fancy bubbly, and lots of unlimited massages. Additionally, the package came with a 52-carat diamond heart necklace.
Guess $400k is the magic number for really expensive caviar-abundant Valentine’s Day packages.
