Ariana Grande was busy lately promoting her new single “Thank You, Next” and working on a new music video. But, still, she took the time to answer some nasty Tweets on Twitter.
Image Credit: Tinseltown / Shutterstock.comIt happened after Ariana posted a sweet message dedicated to her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller who passed away recently. On Thanksgiving day, she wrote, “you’re v missed.” It is where she shared a heartfelt memory of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller and herself; it was a picture showing one of their cherished moments during last year’s Thanksgiving.
After some time, she got some negative comments on her posts from internet trolls, most of which were accusing her of “milking” Mac Miller’s death and criticizing her tribute to her late ex-boyfriend. One of them said: “she milkin this sh**t bruh,” and the other wrote “Ariana let it go… Mourn it behind closed doors. Stop milkin’ it when you wasn’t even there when he was at his lowest right before it happened”.
It was obvious that Ariana wasn’t having any of their nonsense, and so her response was “i pray you never have to deal with anything like this ever and i’m sending you peace and love.” Maybe the tweets were too much for her to bear because she followed it up with – “some of the shit i read on here makes me sick to my stomach. it scares me the way some people think and i don’t like this world a lot of the time. if only we could be more compassionate and gentle with one another. that’d be sick.”
Apparently, she was still hurting that is why she also wrote, “everything i feel is valid and safe. everything i do is genuine and honest. there is no right or wrong during this period.” This shows how people can be inconsiderate at times. Celebrities have feelings too. The Twitter trolls clearly don’t have any idea what Ariana is going through right now, as she is still in the process of coping with the loss of her ex-boyfriend.
Luckily, Ariana has many followers and fans who stood by her and gave moral support through their messages when she bid them goodbye and went on a well-deserved break from internet trolls.
