Birthday joyride ends with crash of $180,000 Lamborghini Gallardo

A birthday joyride in a rented Lamborghini Gallardo ended with the car crashed through a window of a vacant surf shop on Saturday. The impact crumpled the front end of the $180,000 sports car.
Witnessed by more than a dozen pub patrons. Witnesses spoke to the The Age in Victoria, Australia.
“It shot through the roundabout, ripped up three sign poles, passed between a tree and a lightpole and slammed right into the shopfront. It’s the biggest thing to happen in Flinders in about 25 years.”
Mental note — bring comedy act to Flinders. You’ll make a ton of money if this is the greatest thing to happen there in over two decades.
The driver is believed to have only minor injuries.
