The auction for the 9.5 NIB 350s started at $225 on March 10 and, after the price hit $500, became a bidding war between just two eBay users.
A sneakerhead (or Kardashian) just paid $10,100 on eBay for a pair of Kanye West-designed black Yeezy Boost 350s. The sneakers, which debuted last month, are valued at $1,000 and sell for $300-$700 on eBay.
Well that escalated quickly! But how?
The auction for the 9.5 NIB 350s started at $225 on March 10 and, after the price hit $500, became a bidding war between just two eBay users. They were civilized about it for a while, until one of them lost control and increased the max bid from $2,500 to $10,000 two minutes before the auction ended on March 13.
Not to be outdone, the other bidder matched the insane price with one minute left in the auction, before being beat out by a final bid of $10,100.
