Ulubulu, a trendy site that sells stuff for little ones, typically sells really reasonably priced goods. Most of the pacifiers in its numerous collections, in fact, come two for seven dollars. However, what Ulubulu is truly known for its the high-priced binky for sale on its site.
Ulubulu is selling Diamond Pacifiers for upwards of $17,000. Each one features over 250 pave cut white diamonds (3 carats) and a European white gold shield.
While the site doesn’t recommend the pacifiers for actual use, its trying to sell them as this age’s new classic to replace keepsakes like bronzing baby shoes (which only costs under $100 to do, might we add).
There are many other pacifiers out there that have earned the title of most expensive pacifier, and the most expensive one on record is actually $85,000. In comparison, $17,000 is almost a steal for a diamond encrusted sucker.
We agree that baby keepsakes are an important part of the child-rearing process, but to buy an item that’s too nice to serve its function just to look at it? We can’t seem to get on that page. What do you think?
