Celebrity Split Alert: Cardi B & Offset Have Grown “Out of Love”
Don’t Hollywood romances seem fickle? Sometimes celebrities claim they’re soul mates, and other times they choose to “consciously uncouple.” Just last week Cardi B and her baby daddy, Offset seemed in love, this week they have announced that they “grew out of love.”

In an Instagram video on Tuesday, the rapper announced that she and her husband have decided to part ways after one year of marriage.
In the now-viral Instagram video, in which she seemed to appear topless the rapper said:
“So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now, and we are really good friends, and we are really good business partners — you know, he’s always somebody that I run to, to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.”
The rapper has gone on record and said that the split wasn’t anyone’s fault (as if we’re buying that). According to her, they “grew out of love” and are not together anymore. She did say that there will always be a feeling of mutual love between the two because they share a beautiful daughter.
So what did the baby daddy say in his defense? His eloquent reply to her video was “Y’all won.”
Who do you think he is addressing? The haters and the trolls or maybe it’s because people said they wouldn’t last long? That should fall in with haters and trolls, right?
Cardi B captioned her clip, “There you go..peace and love,” which made a lot of her fans think she was joking (that and the looking topless didn’t help either). One fan even commented that the video was a prank.
The sudden split came shortly after Offset talked to US Magazine about Cardi B’s skills as a new mom and spending their first Christmas together as a family. Her amazing mom skills including paying for private jets which is one of the ways she’s keeping Kulture, her five-month-old daughter first. In the interview, he also said they were “learning and growing together”. Offset did mention that he was proud of getting married, and his marriage is one of the biggest milestones in his life.
The couple got married last year and was later faced with cheating allegations. Soon after their wedding, a video of Offset in bed with an unknown woman surfaced online.
Like Khloe Kardashian, Cardi B decided to stick it out with her baby daddy despite a cheating scandal. The rapper was forced to defend their decision to stick together, saying that it was her life, she wasn’t anyone’s property, and it was important for them to work things out because of their daughter.
The “Taki Taki” singers’ life has been abundant with drama lately. Just a couple of months ago she had a very public altercation with nemesis Nicki Minaj.
