    In school, she’s always shown an affinity for athletics as she played in multiple volleyball championships for her high school. She went on to get her Bachelor of Science in public relations from North Carolina State University.

    She was first signed on May 17, 2012 for WWE’s NXT where she further developed her image and career. Charlotte had her first televised match against Bayley on July 17, 2013 which she won.

    She competed in a tournament for the Women’s Championship title on NXT against formidable opponents such as Alexa Bliss and Emma and eventually Natalya in the finals. On May 29, at NXT Takeover, Charlotte Flair won her first ever NXT Women’s Championship title. She went on to convert her overall image from villain to hero during her rematch with Bayley on October 2nd in which they effectively ended their longstanding feud.

    During the December 8 Slammy Awards special on Raw, Charlotte made her first ever WWE main roster appearance where she went up against Natalya. After defending her NXT title several times, she eventually lost it to Sasha Banks during a fatal four-way on February 11. After her 258 day reign, she failed to regain the title despite several attempts.

    On July 13, 2018 on Raw, Charlotte was officially introduced into the main roster alongside Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. During her first pay-per-view at WWE Battleground, Charlotte earned her first win against Sasha Banks and Brie Bella in a triple threat match.

    She earned her first title match against Nikki Bella for the Diva’s Championship belt after setting the record for the first ever Divas Beat the Clock Challenge. Due to technicalities however, Nikki Bella was able to retain the title despite Charlotte’s victory.

    They later on had a rematch at Night of Champions where Charlotte won her first ever Diva’s Championship title. Charlotte then defended her title on several occasions against several superstars. Eventually, during her Wrestlemania debut, she managed to beat Banks and Lynch earning her the first ever WWE Women’s Championship title.

    After her official draft into Raw in 2018, she lost the title match against Sasha Banks. She then went on to beat Banks at SummerSlam on August 21 where she regained the title becoming the first two-time title holder for the Women’s Championship belt.

The rivalry eventually ended at Roadblock: End of the Line where they fought a 30-minute iron man match and eventually winning the title for the 4th consecutive time. Shortly after however, she lost the title to Bayley at Wrestlemania 33.

    She was then traded to the SmackDown roster during the Superstar Shake-up. Due to her father’s serious health concerns, she took a two-month hiatus and returned to the scene on September 19, 2018.
