Yesterday, Reuters released a wide-ranging interview with Pres. Donald Trump, in which Trump discussed everything from North Korea to his family life. One of the things that he made note of was the fact that his life is changed a lot since he moved to the White House, and he can’t do many of the things that he used to like doing. One of those things was apparently driving.
Trump told the news outlet, “You’re really into your own little cocoon, because you have such massive protection that you really can’t go anywhere… I like to drive… I can’t drive anymore.”
Of course it may come as a shock that Trump enjoys driving, given that he is mostly seen in a helicopter or in the back of a limousine. But appears he does. So, many are now wondering what kind of car does Trump drive? How much does Trump spend on his wheels? Let’s find out.
Donald Trump, according to many accounts, has a large fleet of cars. But there is one car that he is seen driving in more often than almost any other. That is a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom is actually now discontinued, but has run in different forms for decades. The latest form of the Phantom has been around since 2003 and costs $500,000 or more.
Trump has also recently been seen driving a few ultraluxury Mercedes-Benz cars, such as the Mercedes SLR McLaren in the Maybach.
But Trump has far more cars than just the Rolls-Royce and a few Mercedes. Trump has shown himself to be a fan of Lamborghinis, and he is owned several rare models, including a late 90s Diablo.
Trump is also owned more specialized cars, such as the Tesla roadster, the original, and a custom motorcycle that is reportedly made out of gold.
It appears that Trump also has several very classic cars in his collection, some of which are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Those include an old Rolls-Royce, among other cars.
