According to the Daily Mail, one plane ticket can cost over $64,000, making it the world’s most expensive airfare and is best described a “penthouse” in the sky.
“Luxury Gulf carrier Etihad Airways unveiled The Residence, its three-room ‘penthouse in the sky’, to great fanfare last December with its inaugural Airbus A380-800 flight from London Heathrow to its base in Abu Dhabi,” the article said.
According to Etihad Airway’s site, the luxury mode of flight was designed by interior designs to give ultimate comfort to the sickeningly rich private flier.
It comes with a butler and chef, which we’re guessing are provided for people who have yet to live life not paying someone to service them at all times.
The plane’s suite includes three rooms: a living room, ensuite bathroom, and bedroom.
The living room includes two sofas,a fridge, and a 32-inch flat screen television for ultimate viewing pleasure. The bathroom is complete with the works including a shower (and luxury bathrobes of course), and the bedroom is complete with a bed dressed in Egyptian cotton, the flier’s choice of pillows, and a guaranteed breakfast upon waking.
If we were on this flight, we would literally pray it never ended.
