Fats Domino was a New Orleans native of French Creole descent. He was born into a musical family, with jazz music being taught to him at a young age by his family members. His dad played the violin, and his other family members were guitarists and singers. Fats Domino was a piano prodigy from when he was very little, and he attracted some of the biggest talent in the area, who wanted to hear him play.
