The American fashion model and One Direction’s star child, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik started dating in late 2015 while they met during the shooting of Zayn’s music video “Pillow Talk” that was released in January 2016. Currently, the couple is isolating in Gigi Hadid’s family farm in Pennsylvania alongside Gigi’s sister, Bella. The couple had been the talk of the town on social media over the years due to the ups and downs in their relationship. But this time, the reports have something heartening for their fans as Gigi and Zayn are expecting their first child together.

The couple hasn’t shared the news of the coming member of their family publicly, and according to the reports, the couple has kept it a secret and shared only with close friends and family members. In her recent Instagram post, Gigi shared several pictures along with a boomerang that had her sister and Zayn. Gigi quoted this celebration as “the sweetest day,” but at the same time, she was sorrow for not being able to make celebrations with her loved ones.
One of her Instagram posts revealed the unique cake she cut on her birthday. The cake was in the shape of a large bagel that was revealed to be made by Buddy Valastro, who is a famous American baker. Gigi was overwhelmed with his efforts in this lockdown time while the bakery is also closed.
Gigi’s and Zayn’s Relationship: Ups & Downs
The model-singer relationship started towards the end of 2015 just before the release of Zayn’s music video, Pillow Talk. Gigi and Zayn appeared on the cover of Vogue in August 2017, and they became the third couple to appear on Vogue’s cover. However, the cover created a controversy as Vogue titled them as “gender fluid.” Later, Vogue apologized the couple for misnaming them. As a couple, Malik and Hadid also did a campaign for Versus (Versace).
In March 2018, the couple decided to separate their ways and announced the decision in individual statements on social media. Just after 3 months of their split, Gigi announced about her patch-up with Zayn Malik in June. However, things didn’t go well, and they again separated in the same year’s November.
In late 2019, according to the reports, Malik had been trying to get back with Gigi, and she decided to give them another chance. The couple made their ‘getting back’ news public in February 2020, and due to the ongoing pandemic, they are enjoying the time together in quarantine.
