It’s Official: Joe Sugg & Dianne Buswell Are Dating
We called it didn’t we? Rumors had been swirling around for months that Joe Sugg and his professional dance partner Diane Buswell were dating. The rumors intensified when Buswell broke up with her boyfriend, actor Anthony Quinlan. She was later photographed leaving Sugg’s London apartment after the show.
The couple had denied reports of a romance and said that their relationship was ‘strictly’ (get it?) professional. They even made a video for Sugg’s channel, laughing off the rumors and tried to put them to rest.
After the finale of “Strictly Come Dancing”, Joe Sugg confirmed via an Instagram post that they’re a couple. In the post, he said, “I may not have won the glitter ball, but I’ve won something a million times more special.”
As you may have guessed (spoiler alert), Thatcher Joe did not win the glitter ball, even though he made it to the finale. However, he did say that he got something better than the glittering trophy, and that is his girlfriend, Dianne Buswell. In the picture posted on Sunday, Dianne and Joe look lovingly into each other’s eyes.
Sugg’s sister, Zoella was quick to show her support publicly by ‘liking’ the photo of the couple. Zoella, who is a YouTube star in her own right, has confirmed that Buswell has gotten the family approval.
After the show Buswell also shared an emotional post dedicated to her boyfriend, calling him a “dream partner.” The professional dancer also added, “You won in my eyes, and I’m forever proud!”, Don’t you guys think that the new couple stole the winner, Kevin Clifton’s thunder by confirming the romance on the night of the finale? Their relationship was trending higher than Kevin Clifton winning the Strictly Come Dancing trophy. How rude!
Sugg and Buswell confirmed their budding romance after they were photographed leaving the Strictly finale party hand in hand later that night. During the finale, Sugg had praised his professional dancing partner, in clips shown before the judged announced the winner. In the emotional clips, the YouTuber said, “Dianne on this show has been… everything. She’s got a great sense of humor. My stomach actually hurts. For me, that’s what has made the show so special.”
His partner also appeared in the clips and had similarly emotional things to say about him as well. She said, “He’s so genuine. He puts 1000% into everything. I couldn’t have picked a better partner.”
Who doesn’t like a love story? Now that the two have confirmed their romance, we can start speculating about another would be couple. We’re open to ideas.
