Jessamyn Duke was born on June 24th, 1986 in Whitesburg, Kentucky, United States. While she previously fought in the UFC, she was more recently fighting in the smaller Invicta Fighting Championships promotion before making the transition to the WWE. Aside from fighting in the UFC, she was also featured in the Ultimate Fighter TV show where she joined Team Rousey to go up against Team Tate. She focuses on Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She started fighting in MMA since 2010, although did not transition into the professional leagues until the year of 2012. Overall her amateur record stands at 5 wins and only 2 losses, however her professional MMA record is only 3 wins and 5 losses with 1 no contest.
Unlike Ronda Rousey, Duke was not a household name in the MMA business which is why she is focusing on her new career to become a famous WWE wrestler instead.
