The 2018 Weddings Report commissioned by Thumbtack has found that East Coast states dominate the most expensive places to get married while western states prove to be more economically feasible.

A pretty obvious trend emerges after looking at the lists-the East Coast is an exceptionally expensive part of the country to tie the knot in.
The report includes pricing data for wedding necessities like planning, catering, decorating, photography, videography, flowers, hair, makeup and cake to arrive at its conclusion.
It does not, however, including pricing data for venue, bridal dresses, or wedding rings.
