Controversial drug tycoon Martin Shkreli is probably 2018’s world’s most hated man after he increased the price of a life-saving drug for people with AIDs from $13.50 to $750, defining capitalist greed.
Now, the world’s celebrating after the FBI arrested him on charges of fraud. But one of the more pressing things on many people’s minds is- what’s to happen to his purchase of the world’s most expensive album?
Before Shkreli outraged the public with his greed, he anonymously purchased the never-before-heard Wu-Tang album-Once Upon a Time in Shaolin–for a whopping $2 million.
According to Shkreli’s deal, he can’t ever use the album to make a profit, but he has the power to share it online for free. We have a feeling he won’t be doing that…
Thanks to Shkreli’s active Twitter presence, he’s made himself public enemy number one, which you can see why with some sample Tweets below:
“If I hand you $2 million, fucking show me some respect. At least have the decency to say nothing or ‘no comment.'” https://t.co/yr4UVdMDxe

50-100 date solicitations a day for me, the world’s most eligible bachelor. Sorry, but you have to be a shareholder to meet me. — Martin Shkreli (@MartinShkreli) December 14, 2018
Within 10 years, more than half of all rap/hip-hop music will be made exclusively for me. Don’t worry–I will share some of it.

Essentially, Shrekli’s brash attitude has not won him any fans. He’s the modern-day Jordan Belfort, except with a Twitter account. We can’t help but think if Belfort’s prime happened in the days of Twitter, he’d probably be hated, too and not revered. We digress…
With Shrekli’s arrest, everyone’s main concern is that the FBI seizes the prized Wu-Tang album that many wish Shrekli didn’t have.
Unfortunately, the FBI announced to the public earlier that they did not seize the album during Shrekli’s arrest.
Too much Squandering in this story to handle.
