Paris Hilton Reveals The Biggest Misconception About Herself
She is the OG reality star, the one that started the reality television phenomena and has thus been scrutinized for her actions ever since she landed the gig on The Simple Life. People were obsessed with her, and everything pink. Her star has continued to shine almost two decades later as she becomes the cover girl of Gay Times magazine’s December issue, which will be on sale later this month. On a side note, she is the perfect cover girl for the magazine; I mean doesn’t every gay man literally want to be her?
When asked if she’d ever considered doing The Simple Life again, Paris Hilton told Gay Times that she had actually been approached to re-do it but couldn’t because of a scheduling conflict, so she had to say no. The heiress said it would be “pretty epic” if it did end up happening. According to her, the show changed her life (and the face of reality television), because it was the first of its kind. The Simple Life was a gateway for her to travel the world! Uh, didn’t she already have her parents millions to travel the world? She could have traveled the world without the help of the show, but yes, the show did start her career in this business. Now Kim Kardashian is the undisputed queen of reality television, but she initially piggybacked on Paris’s fame before her video with Ray Jay was released.
When asked what is next in store for her, she answered with “world domination.” I mean, who saw this answer coming? Roll your eyes in agreement. The heiress to a multi-million dollar hotel chain plans on continuing to work hard, living her life to the fullest, releasing new music (have mercy on our ears), products, and DJ-ing around the world. She just wants to be (imagine her flipping her hair) “boss babe and just keep killing it.” You go, girl!
In the interview, she also revealed that the biggest misconception people still have of her is that she’s still a ditsy blonde from The Simple Life. According to Paris, her ditsy blonde persona was a character she created for the show. She (literally) had so much fun being a ditsy blonde back in the day, but now she loves being able to prove people differently.

A tabloid reported that Paris and her former fiancé the uber handsome Chris Zylka had gone their separate ways. The break up was not covered by Gay Times though. According to tabloids Paris Hilton hasn’t returned the $2 million engagement ring and plans on keeping it. Don’t worry her pretty faced ex-fiancé didn’t spend all that dough on the ring either; it was gifted to him by the jeweler. Say what?
