While some of the world’s richest millennials earned their billions by being ridiculously smart and hard-working, many received their billions thanks to a whole lot of luck.
Not surprisingly, the world’s richest millennial is none other than Silicon Valley King and creator of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg. At the ripe age of 32, Zuckerberg is worth about $50 billion.
Other rich millennials include Joe Gebbia and Brian Chesky, two graduates from the Rhode Island School of Design who created the global website Airbnb– one of those ideas that everyone wished they thought of it first.
But while these gents earned money and success thanks to inventing something that society majorly needed and wanted, some of the richest millennials are rich just because.
That includes Yang Huian, who is worth $5.1 billion at age 34 thanks to inheriting some of her dad’s massive estate. After her real estate tycoon dad transferred his holding of the family’s main fortune.
It also includes Scott Daniel Duncan, a young man who inherited billions of dollars from his family’s oil and gas fortune.
Must be nice.
