Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, more popularly known as Sia, was born on December 18, 1975 in Adelaide, Australia. In the 1990s, she was a singer in a band called Crisp. They disbanded and Furler released Only See, her first debut album. After moving to London, she became one-half of the British duo called Zero 7. She released her second album, Healing is Difficult after signing with Sony Music’s Dance Pool in 2000. Furler’s third album, Color the Small One, was released in 2004 when she signed with Go! Beat.
Sia moved to New York and toured across the United States. She released her fourth album, Some People Have Real Problems in 2008 and fifth album, We Are Born, in 2010. Furler took a break from performing and write songs for other artists. She released her sixth album, 1000 Forms of Fear, in 2014. This hit the top spot in the U.S. Billboard 200. Her seventh album, This is Acting, was released in 2018.
