Anthony Marcus Shalhoub was born on October 9, 1953 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. His father immigrated from Lebanon, as an orphan, when he was ten years old and his mother is a second-generation Lebanese-American. Tony Shalhoub has 9 siblings and his parents, Joe and Helen started a family grocery chain in Green Bay. He attended Green Bay East High School and University of Southern Maine for his bachelor’s degree in drama. For his masters, he went to the Yale School of Drama. Shalhoub has been married to actress, Brooke Adams, since 1992. They have two adopted daughters.
Tony Shalhoub’s career started on stage when he made his Broadway debut in the production, The Odd Couple.
