Kim Tae-Hyung was born in 1995 in the Seo District of Daegu, South Korea. He has grown up in Geochang County. From elementary school, V aspired to be a singer. While he was in his middle school, V started to take saxophone lessons as mean for pursuing a career in the field. His father was supportive and allowed him to learn how to play the Saxophone.
